China is vast. Off-the-scale large. A gripping mixture of wildly varying dialects and climatic and topographical climaxes, it’s like various different nations wrapped into one. Whether you’re an city traveller, hiker, cyclist, backpacker, explorer, irrepressible museum-goer or faddish foodie, China’s multifariousness is inferior to none.
