Important Notes

Day 1Begin Your Tour • Arrive in Vienna

Welcome to your ‘Sailani’s – Melodies of Eastern Europe Tour’. Your Sailani’s representative will greet you at the ‘designated meeting point’ at the exit. After immigration and customs, transfer comfortably to your hotel (Check-In after 1600 Hrs).

Sailani’s takes care to start your sightseeing the next day so that you can relax after your long flight and get over your jetlag. Your time is your own to relax and experience the charm of this great city on your own. Overnight at Vienna.

Day 2Onto Salzburg • Guided City Tour of Vienna • Visit Schönbrunn Palace • Visit Mauthausen Concentration Camp

Today, enjoy a guided city tour of Vienna, which will inspire you by its charm and astonish you by the splendorous buildings of a time that is in a way still present. Commence with a visit to the Schönbrunn Palace a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Enjoy a photographic opportunity as you drive around the ring and pass famous landmarks like the great State Opera House, St. Charles Church (photo stop), the Imperial Palace (Hofburg)

(photo stop), the Parliament and the Town Hall among others offering an insight into the culture and history of the city and of the Habsburg dynasty.

Next, we will visit Mauthausen Concentration Camp in Upper Austria, which was one of the largest labour camp complexes in the Third Reich. Between 1938 and 1945 about 200,000 people from all over Europe were imprisoned in Mauthausen. About half of them lost their lives. Today, Mauthausen Memorial stands as a reminder of the darkest days of Austria’s history.

Later depart for Salzburg – an Austrian city on the German border, with views of the Eastern Alps. It’s known as the birthplace of Mozart and setting for the film “The Sound of Music.” The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, and 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on the right. On arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight at Salzburg.

Day 3Onto Munich • Guided City Tour of Salzburg • Photo Stop at Chiemsee • Visit to BMW Welt • Orientation Tour of Munich • Free Time at Marienplatz

This morning an enjoy guided city tour Of Salzburg. Salzburg is not only the home of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the setting of the film, the Sound of Music, but it is also a cultural hub of Austria. In this tour we will visit the Splendid Mirabell Gardens, built by prince-archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau in 1606 as a token of his love for Salome Alt and the same time we see other sightseeing’s in Salzburg.

Enjoy a Photo Stop at Lake Chiemsee, the crown jewel of Bavaria’s tourist region.

Next, we visit the BMW Welt. BMW Welt is the company’s experience and automobile collection centre. It features fascinating, futuristic architecture and hosts a wide range of exhibitions and events. One unique area is the section dedicated to the personalised handover of models of the BMW brand.

Enjoy the orientation tour of Munich. The tour begins with a visit only from the outside and photo stop at the Palace of Nymphenburg, the former summer residence of the Bavarian elector princes and kings. The Palace is surrounded by beautiful park gardens and a few smaller palaces. The lawns and water features of the park are equally ornate as the magnificent Nymphenburg Palace.

Further, our route invites you to discover sights such as the Pinakotheken art museum, the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, the National Theater with the Royal Palace, Olympic Stadium, St. Peter’s Church (Peterskirche), Cathedral of Our Blessed Lady (Frauenkirche), Free time at Marienplatz, Medieval public square is the heart of the Munich. Day 4Onto Prague • Guided City Tour of Český Krumlov

Today, we live history through an orientation tour of Český Krumlov. Fairy-tale, picturesque, charming – this often describes Český Krumlov… and rightly so.
Český Krumlov is, without doubt, one of the most beautiful towns in Europe and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Walk the meandering streets of a town full of art, concerts and theatre performances, galleries and craft shops. Enjoy the breath-taking view of the historic centre and the Vltava river that almost encircles it. This singular view from a castle built on rock clefts will ensure your desire to return.

Later depart for Prague City of a Hundred Spires, a UNESCO monument and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. On arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight at Prague.

Day 5In Prague • Guided City Tour of Prague • Visit Prague Castle • Free Time at Old Town – Prague

Enjoy a guided city tour of Prague. Commence your exploration of this city with the imposing Prague Castle. Admire the grandeur of this Royal Castle; you will also be impressed by the elegance of the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral. Next visit the Royal Palace that used to be the seat of the Bohemian princes. Get acquainted with Prague’s major sights like the picturesque Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. Day 6Onto Budapest • Orientation Tour of Bratislava

Today you will have a long relaxed drive towards Budapest. “Budapest” is the combination of the city names Buda and Pest, which were united into a single city in 1873.

This day we will visit Bratislava. The greater metropolitan area is home to more than 650,000 people. Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia, occupying both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital that borders two independent countries. Enjoy an orientation tour of Bratislava.

Later continue your drive to Budapest. On arrival, check into your hotel. Overnight at Budapest.

Day 7Onto Vienna • Guided City Tour of Budapest • Free Time at Karntner Strasse

Today enjoy a guided city tour of Budapest. Budapest is a graceful capital along the banks of the majestic Danube. Walk along with the Fisherman’s bastion for superb views of St. Stephen’s cathedral. Hero’s square the Danube embankment and the Chain bridge. Surprising sights and unexpected delights await!

Drive by the Parliament, cross the Danube on the industrial and business part of the town past the enormous Heroes Square, the beautiful Chain Bridge that connects the cities of Buda and Pest, the statue of St. Stephen and the seven turrets.

Then drive to Vienna. Austria’s capital is famous for its cultural events, imperial sights, coffee houses, cosy wine taverns, and the very special Viennese charm. Free time at Kärntner Strasse – a lively pedestrian street. Later check into your hotel. Overnight at Vienna.
